SEO agency for SMEs

SEO agency for small and medium-sized businesses: strategy, content and technical SEO

Our SEO agency audits, prioritizes and implements the work that connects organic-search visibility to qualified inquiries and fits the resources your business actually has.

Verifiable SEO support, without ranking promises

Evidence behind each recommendation

Every action identifies the affected page, the observed signal, the intended search need, the expected impact, the effort and the way it will be checked.

Explicit scope and dependencies

The proposal separates audits, technical fixes, content, editorial support, measurement and tasks that depend on your team or third-party providers.

Accessible accounts and deliverables

Access, dashboards, content, briefs, change logs and documents remain identified and are handed over according to the agreed scope.

Results presented with their limits

We track visibility, queries, pages, inquiries and commercial quality without automatically attributing every change to SEO or guaranteeing a ranking.

When does an SEO agency make sense for an SME?

An SEO agency is useful when your website already exists, but the pages to improve, the technical fixes and the content to produce are not being prioritized or implemented. The objective is not to accumulate keywords. It is to connect every page with a search need, business evidence and a measurable next action.

The 2025 France Num Barometer, based on 11,021 businesses and updated on April 7, 2026, reports that 84% of respondents have at least one online visibility solution and 65% have a website. These self-reported figures do not prove that this presence generates sales. They show why the next challenge is to improve and measure what already exists.

An agency is not always the right format. A one-off audit, a specialist consultant or internal training may be enough when your team can implement the work. PeakLab is most useful when strategy, content and web development must be coordinated and the deployed changes must then be checked.

  • Prioritize what exists: decide which pages to strengthen, create, merge, redirect or keep out of the index
  • Protect a redesign: prepare the inventory, redirects, canonicals, useful structured data and post-launch checks
  • Turn expertise into content: build useful pages from real evidence, cases, objections and subject-matter knowledge
  • Measure inquiries: connect Search Console, permitted analytics and sales data without confusing traffic with qualified opportunities

Why can PeakLab go beyond an SEO audit?

Our team combines strategy, content, product and development. We can document a recommendation, implement it in the website, verify the release and hand over the decisions. If your team can execute independently or an audit is enough, we define a lighter scope.

What our SEO agency analyzes, prioritizes and delivers

The scope combines the work your website and goals actually require. It does not automatically turn every possible lever into a monthly retainer.

01

Baseline and prioritized SEO audit

We connect Search Console, crawling, indexing, performance, content, internal linking and inbound links with the available business goals. The France Num guide published on March 16, 2026 explains that an SME audit should identify technical, editorial and authority gaps, then prioritize them according to available resources. PeakLab delivers a backlog with evidence, impact, effort, dependencies, ownership and verification criteria.

02

Search intent, architecture and cannibalization

We map offers, problems and decision stages to the pages that can answer them. The map records the primary query, variations, angle, proof, CTA and internal links, while identifying pages that compete with one another or serve no useful intent. A query variation does not automatically justify a new page. Decisions to create, merge, redirect or retain a page are documented before production.

03

Technical SEO, migrations and redesigns

We check crawlability, indexability, canonicals, redirects, sitemaps, rendering, performance and structured data that has a real use. For a migration, an inventory connects each old URL to a verified destination, then Search Console and available logs support post-launch checks. Our web development agency can implement the agreed fixes. Constraints created by the CMS, hosting or a third party remain explicit.

04

Content grounded in expertise and evidence

Our briefs combine intent, decision questions, structure, sources, first-hand material, cases, internal links and a CTA. The Google guide for AI search features, updated on July 10, 2026, says that core SEO practices still apply and favors original, useful content grounded in experience. We can write the content or work with your experts. No publishing volume is imposed without the capacity to review it.

05

Internal linking and authority signals

We connect complementary pages with clear anchors, repair orphan pages and direct internal links toward content that supports a decision. Existing external links are reviewed to identify risks and opportunities. Any authority-building work is described with its method, cost and ownership. We do not promise a link volume, a third-party score or a ranking obtained through paid link schemes.

06

Lead measurement and iteration

Reporting separates impressions, clicks, queries, landing pages, useful actions and inquiry quality when the data exists. The 2025 Afnic study, published on February 26, 2026, reports that 61% of its self-selected panel does little or no acquisition-performance tracking; 92% of respondents are microbusinesses, which limits generalization. Audience measurement must also follow the conditions described by the CNIL. Together with our acquisition agency, we can compare channels using lead quality.

FreeMatch: a historical SEO result connected to the product

For FreeMatch, a PeakLab product that matches IT freelancers with assignments, documented monthly SEO impressions increased from 578 to 10,226 over one year. The latest recorded activity for this case is dated May 1, 2025.

This result belongs to a specific product, period, market and setup. It is not a forecast for another website. It illustrates combined work on architecture, pages, search, content and measurement by a team that can also work directly on the product.

Google's guide for hiring an SEO provider, updated on June 5, 2026, warns that a first-position guarantee is a red flag. Our proposal therefore describes the changes, their rationale, the required access, the checking method and what remains uncertain. Review our other areas of expertise when the work extends beyond organic search.
