Yonev

Yonev: Unifying payments for a national retail chain

Contexte

Yonev is a network of 56 establishments specializing in car wash, detection, and automotive maintenance distributed across France. Each site operated almost autonomously with different payment terminals, manual processes, and no integration with Google Maps Booking, the main customer reservation channel.

Défi

The main challenge was creating a unified payment infrastructure compatible with 56 heterogeneous locations, while integrating Google Maps Booking to automate the reservation-payment flow. Payment errors (~8-10% of volume) caused massive customer frustration and costly support calls. Daily reconciliation was nearly impossible, making financial tracking opaque and fraud detection very difficult.

Solution

We designed and developed a secure central payment API capable of processing transactions from all sites with very low latency. The architecture relies on webhooks and real-time payment confirmation synchronization. Google Maps Booking integration allowed customers to book and pay directly through the search engine. A centralized monitoring dashboard provides immediate visibility of transactions, anomalies, and performance at each site.

Résultats

Since deployment, Yonev has successfully integrated all 56 establishments on the new infrastructure. Transactions are processed in under 200ms, ensuring smooth customer experience. The error rate dropped by 95%, almost completely eliminating rejections and double debits. Financial reconciliation is automated, payment-related support calls dropped by 85%, and real-time anomaly detection strengthened system security.
